Commerce + Ecosystems (C+E) is responsible for enabling and optimizing the end-to-end customer journey on the Microsoft Cloud. C+E’s Ecosystems team helps our current and future customers discover and engage with AI capabilities on the Microsoft Cloud. Serving audiences from students to developers to startup founders, we share a common goal to help these audiences develop the most innovative solutions built on the Microsoft platform.

Within Ecosystems, the Skilling team operates learn.microsoft.com, providing a central platform for individuals to learn, grow, and adopt Microsoft technology. Through this platform, users can access technical documentation, training, Q&A, architectural guidance, and code samples. At Microsoft Learn, our aspiration is to be our customers' trusted way to learn Microsoft, get answers, and connect to community.

Microsoft Learn is looking for a Product Manager II with deep customer empathy who is passionate about community-led learning experiences. This PM will be responsible for helping to evolve our existing solutions and explore new experiences that embrace the future of collaborative learning and Generative AI.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver innovative, world-class community-led learning experiences for a global audience, in partnership with key stakeholders
  • Evolve our existing Q&A infrastructure to scale for future Gen-AI scenarios
  • Collaborate to shape future investments in community-led experiences on Microsoft Learn, in alignment with strategic initiatives
  • Work cross-functionally with internal roles including engineering, product management, program management, design, and research, as well as external customers
  • Define, drive, and track success criteria and performance metrics, and incorporate them into planning and execution
  • You'll start to own a portion of the roadmap for a feature group, and will organize scenario walkthroughs to identify problems

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management
    • OR software development
    • OR eqivalent experience.
Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
