Background

At Udio, our mission is to enable the next generation of music creators with state-of-the-art AI tools.

Our founding team is composed of world-leading AI experts, formerly of Google DeepMind, where they built the tech behind YouTube and DeepMind's generative music project. Between them, our founders have 4 PhDs, degrees from Harvard, Oxford, Mila, and Edinburgh, and industry experience at DeepMind, Google, Nvidia, Dropbox, Yext, and more.

Role

As a Product Manager, you will help build the roadmap for the groundbreaking music creation and consumption features to enable the next generation of creators. You will be responsible for prioritizing feature development and coordinating across engineering, research, and marketing to ensure we ship world-leading products. This role will require a uniquely talented person with both vision and a scrappy, can-do attitude.

Must Haves

  • Experience owning a consumer and/or creation-based technology application
  • Passion for music and AI
  • 5-10 years of experience
  • Exceptional management ability
  • Deep empathy and respect for musicians and creators
  • Strong product management fundamentals: roadmapping, prioritization, cross-team collaboration capabilities
  • Experience working alongside product engineers as well as top-class researchers

Nice to Haves

  • Experience at a rapidly growing startup
  • Professional experience in the music industry
  • Knowledge of the generative AI landscape

This role is eligible for a compensation package of base salary, equity, and benefits. The starting base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $250,000. Actual salary may vary based on level, work experience, performance, and other factors evaluated during the hiring process.
