Product Manager

As a Product Manager for Metro Light & Power, you will play a key role in driving the success of our Power & Data product line. You will be responsible for managing both current and future product offerings, (from inception through manufacturing) ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, aesthetic appeal and market relevance. In addition, your focus will also be on maintaining strong relationships with our clients and distributors, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the order thru production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute product strategies that align with company goals and market trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, production and sales, to bring new products to market.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new product development.
• Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including pricing, packaging, and promotion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and distributors, addressing inquiries and providing timely updates on orders and product information.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends to identify areas for growth and improvement.
• Travel to client sites and industry events as needed to represent the company and promote our products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in product management, and familiarity with production processes and techniques, (such as injection molding, CNC fabrication, electroplating, and assembly of products (preferably electrically related))
• Understanding of the hospitality and office/commercial market sectors, including customer needs and competitive landscape.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and product management software, (Adobe Creative Suite and/or 3D CAD software knowledge a plus)
