Product Manager

Responsible for the product design of Alibaba Cloud’s computing platform, our platform primarily caters to data scientists, algorithm engineers, tech developers, and enterprise data team managers. We offer a variety of services, from data intelligent annotation to R&D, training, inference, and scenario-based service development. Our solutions mainly support sectors like search and recommendation marketing, autonomous driving, financial services, technological advancements in science, and other common applications. Duties encompass market insight, demand analysis, technical feasibility assessments, solution exploration, business and product planning, design, pre-sales capacity development, post-sales service liaison, and ensuring the product’s central competitiveness, commercial results, and market impact.

Responsibilities

• Over 3 years of R&D experience in big data and computing solutions, with 3-5 years in B2B product design.

• Knowledge of international big data and tech products.

• Pronounced business insight and a strong commercial instinct. Expertise in setting clear product definitions and in product pricing and life cycle management.

• Postgraduate degree or higher in computer science or tech-related fields like big data and advanced algorithms.

• Outstanding communication capabilities, stellar team collaboration ethos, firm execution skills, and resilience in demanding situations.

• Previous involvement in designing cloud-centric products is advantageous.

• Skilled in big data and tech platform methodologies, with an extensive appreciation of open-source tools, including Hadoop, Tensorflow, Pytorch, K8S, and more. Preference for individuals acquainted with cutting-edge domains like LangChain.

• A background in intelligent computing, diversified computing, and high-efficiency computing areas is desirable.

• Exposure to fields like search, recommendation, advertising, visual tech, auditory tech, and NLP is beneficial.

• Proficiency in English, combined with an international mindset or related overseas work experience, is valued.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $130,800 and $216,000/year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
