Job Title: Product Manager (SalesForce Call Center Health Plan

Duration – 6 Months (Remote)

Team Info

  • This team is currently VERY meeting heavy, but manager is aware and working toward a solution. The ideal candidate will be someone who has worked in an environment like this before and is able to offer some solution to the issue in addition to meeting the requirements for the basic needs mentioned below.
  • Work Hours/Schedule: 8:30a-5:30p with expectation of an avg of 2 deployments per week that need to take place after business hours (8p EST) Some big deployments will require weekend hours, but this is few and far between. If there is an issue during a deployment sometimes they can last until midnight when started at 8p. otherwise, in a perfect world, they last about 1 hour 15 minutes.

Needs/Requirements

  • SF Experience – health cloud/marketing cloud sales and service
  • Candidate Will pick up on the other SF tools easily
  • Exp. With scaled agile accustomed to working on release train – min. agile exp.
  • Love to see 4-5 years of exp. Prod Mgr. within SF Health Plan department.
  • VERY strong communication – both technical and business (non-technical)
  • -Consequently PM usually works OT almost very wk. – also has to attend deployments during evening and wknds if necessary – start at 8p – have to wait for call centers/business to close to start the deployments.
    • would like to off the opp. To offset the evening/hours. (let them come in 2 hours late if working late; but still working to catch up in order to be able to allow this)
    • deployments usually only take place Mon./Tues./Wed unless something REALLY big is going live (AvMed integration – etc.)
    • candidate will be responsible for updates to manager on future and current state
Expectations (Day To Day)

  • Know what’s coming down the pipeline know if it’s L3 etc...
  • Have fairly decent idea of what is going on real time – what is committed to in current prog increment – on target? Are there risks? (escalate risks if they have them)
  • Keep up from a future state perspective – doesn’t need to go in and decide what requirements are but KNOW where they are with requirement gathering and with process of having architecture weigh in on solution so they’ll know when we’re ready to hand off to team to work on and what increment it needs to be worked on and if can’t do it…
  • Meeting with business and getting business priority and value documented for ea. PI
  • Staying in touch with business and keeping business up to date.
    • Candidate will be active in creation of portfolio epics and increment epics
    • Fill out feature epics and write stories on what’s being done.
  • -This team is really trying to pivot from a reactive position of mtngs/calls etc. to a proactive position. i.e if there are 5 initiatives coming – rather that attending all 5 mtngs catch up with all Business partners or stakeholders on one call and gather requirements and what they’re looking for.
  • Organizing who should go to what meeting and who is valuable to give outcome they’re looking for.
  • Doesn’t expect them to do the development work, but is relying on them to take what the business says they need and be able to bring it back to the development/arch team and articulate it in a way they will comprehend.
