Our client is a trailblazing contemporary accessory brand renowned for its playful and innovative sunglasses. They are eagerly seeking a vibrant Product Development Assistant to join their creative team!

Salary/Hourly Rate

$20/hr – $23/hr

Position Overview

As a Product Development Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of our client’s product assortment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the collections resonate with the customers and align with our brand vision for quality style frames.

Responsibilities Of The Product Development Assistant

  • Assist in the coordination of product development activities from concept to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with design, sourcing, and production teams to facilitate sample approvals, manage product specifications, and track development progress.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Support in the preparation of presentation materials for internal meetings and buyer interactions.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate product documentation and specifications.

Qualifications For The Product Development Assistant

  • Previous internship or 1 – 2 years of experience in product development, merchandising, or a related role within a contemporary retailer or accessory brand.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Passion for fashion, trends, and product innovation.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
