Product Designer

We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our dynamic team and contribute to designing world-class products that meet the complex needs of our customers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our product and engineering team to shape the future of our data-focused products and drive their success in the market.

Compensation Range: $120K - $135K
We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our dynamic team and contribute to designing world-class products that meet the complex needs of our customers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our product and engineering team to shape the future of our data-focused products and drive their success in the market.
What you will be doing:
- Craft elegant and user-friendly interfaces, user flows, and prototypes for a highly technical data SaaS product.
- Own the design of new functionality end-to-end.
- Conduct user research and usability testing with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and refine functionality and features.
- Collaborate with product management in defining the problem and assist with requirements.
- Sync regularly with engineering to ensure the viability of proposed solutions and guide ongoing implementation work.
- Continuously improve the product by suggesting improvements to existing functionality.
- Contribute and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- 5-6 years experience as a proven Product Designer.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Experience solving complex problems for specialized domains and turning them into elegant, user friendly solutions.
- A strong portfolio showcasing examples of your work, your design process, and the outcomes/results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A curious and collaborative mindset.
- A pragmatist who knows to push for excellence when needed.
- Proficiency in Figma and other industry standard tools.
- Experience working with existing component libraries; you know when to use an existing component or create a custom one.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a small team of product managers, designers, and stakeholders.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Self-starter with strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Flexibility to accommodate US Pacific working hours.
- Bonus: Strong understanding of data management concepts, data warehousing, or related technologies.
