Overview
The Software Product Design Engineer is a unique role in both Full-Stack Development and UX Design (approx. 20%). You will serve as a liaison between Software Development and Design Teams. This is creative technology role within a high-growth health-tech startup company. This position requires previous experience in startup organizations and understanding of the urgency of a startup company's mission.

Required Technology Skills
Senior Developer skills with min. 2+ years' professional development experience.
Experienced in full-stack development with expertise in Front-End development.
Expert level skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Experience in technologies such as Angular, React, Ember, Vue etc. is desirable.
Senior skills as a UX Designer.
Strong familiarity working with Figma tool and hungry to learn more.
Required Experience And Role Attributes
Background in a startup company as a Founder or Founding Team Member.
Experience working within funded startups (Series C is a PLUS).
Entrepreneurial spirited and product minded with ability to innovate and drive product autonomously without product manager or management oversight.
Thrive in a fast-moving environment, for example shipping new features daily.
Obsessed with optimizing UX and quickly able to understand the needs of users.
E xceptional product intuition and deep empathy for users' needs and experiences.
Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics that ensure a careful and thorough approach to Figma mockups.
Capable of addressing unique, unprecedented challenges by leveraging strong design principles and first-principles thinking, while creatively utilizing the best tools to enhance user satisfaction.
Excellent communication skills, able to concisely and clearly communicate designs to the team verbally and through materials (sketches, wireframes, prototypes etc.)
Able to understand and refine complex concepts and processes and make them accessible for users in the form of simple, elegant user flows and interactions.
Able to work in an iterative design process, guided by user feedback and company goals.
Seeks to maximize self-productivity and team productivity, communicating the right things at the right time.
What You'll Do
Work with internal Engineers and sales team to identify, create and implement the user flows that delight both doctors and patients in using the application.
Design and implement creative solutions that improve the clarity and comprehension of company solutions and website.
Join customer calls to develop a deep understanding of their fundamental motivations and needs.
Lead on future designs and implementations for flagship features, including building out video consultation offerings and incorporating integrations with APIs into the UX.
Collaborate with Engineers to apply insights from user cohort and A/B testing to inform decisions about feature selection and design.
Assist with future hiring and scaling of the team.
Define and formalize design standards and help grow and scale the design tools and processes that enable rapidly shipping features.
Work in a dynamic fast-paced environment with opportunities to make a real impact.
Work within a highly scalable, cost-effective, and secure tech stack with minimal to zero ops.
Work on two fully functional web applications currently in production.
Work with a supportive and collaborative team where your ideas are highly valued!
