The Opportunity

As a Product Associate on the Evergreen Funds Team, you will be an essential team member in broadening our evergreen fund business. The Hamilton Lane Evergreen funds are designed to provide retail and institutional investors a unique opportunity to access the broad private markets asset class through a single commitment.

As a Product Associate, you will support the needs of the Evergreen sales teams, spearhead the request for proposal (“RFP”) process alongside our BD Support team and work closely with the Evergreen Portfolio Management team on external client messaging and marketing materials including pitchbooks and investment summaries.

Your Responsibilities Will Be To

  • Assist with supporting the team in building and maintaining relationships with HL’s Evergreen Fund investors. This includes, but is not limited to, providing support to the Evergreen sales team, and updates to existing clients.
  • Create investment summaries, presentations, pitch books, fact sheets and fundraising letters.
  • Develop and provide compelling quantitative and qualitative support in the pursuit of new business opportunities for new and existing clients.
  • Coordinate materials and presentations for fundraising efforts, new business pitches and on-site due diligence meetings.
  • Completion of RFP and due diligence questionnaires. This includes gathering information, writing, proofreading, editing, data manipulation/verification, formatting, and printing in the compilation responses.
  • Improve upon the representation of analytics, metrics, and data utilized in sales presentations while supporting content creation and maintenance of sales enablement tools with the RFP and marketing teams.
  • Assist with ongoing reporting obligations to distribution platforms and distribution partners.
  • Maintenance and updates to consultant databases and standard materials.
  • Completion of ad-hoc sales-support requests and projects.

Your Background Will Include

  • 3+ years of experience in similar position, international experience a plus.
  • BA/BS, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Understanding of investment adviser/financial services industry, ideally with a focus on private markets.
  • Proven communication and analytical skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Must be proactive, self-starter and able to interact with people who have varied personalities and work styles.
