Producer for External Development (Must Be Fluent in Spanish & English)

Position Summary

SciPlay is a leading developer and publisher of digital games on mobile and web platforms, providing highly entertaining free-to-play games that millions of people play every day for their authenticity, engagement and fun.

SciPlay currently offers nine core games, including social casino games Jackpot Party Casino, Gold Fish Casino Slots, Hot Shot Casino and Quick Hit Slots, and casual games MONOPOLY Slots, Bingo Showdown, 88 Fortunes Slots, Backgammon Live, and Solitaire Pet Adventure with offices all over the world!

Essential Job Functions: 

• Lead the production process for our external dev teams in Mexico and Argentina
• Motivate and provide support to your team, always contributing to a positive work environment
• Guide the completion of project goals and facilitate communication, organization, and process improvement across all departments.
• Own the day-to-day tasking and scheduling for your team
• Own the release schedule and effectively manage the live operations for the game
• Effectively communicate with developers of all disciplines and across teams
• Identify roadblocks, project risks, and be involved in finding solutions
• Collaborate with team leadership and other producers to keep teams moving forward with a shared vision
• Help make informed decisions in conjunction with team leadership on work methods, development pipelines, priorities, and available people
• Facilitate team and department meetings to reach decisions effectively
• Champion quality with an eye on keeping the dates
  
  

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  
  

Required Experience

• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, to manage diverse teams in US, Argentina, and Mexico.
• 3+ years of game production/software development experience
• 2+ years of live operations game production
• Familiar with game development processes and pipelines
• Able to work with team leads and team leadership to align priorities
• Experience tracking a complex project and providing support to quickly clear roadblocks
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent people management skills
• The ability to remove ambiguities in both communication and planning by providing additional detail and context
• Passion for video games especially social slots
• Fun to work with
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Passion to create fun games with an engaging player experience
• Adept with Word and Excel (or Google Sheets)
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• High proficiency in Agile Project management software tools (Trello, JIRA, basecamp, etc..)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills

• Experience with AAA game development
• Familiarity with game play features of current casino video and mechanical slots
