Producer/ Content Creator

Curtis Media Group is looking to hire a full time Producer/ Content Creator in our Raleigh, NC office. This individual will work on-site.

The Digital Content Creator will handle various aspects of both maintaining and creating content for several websites with the ability to cross-promote via broadcast and print media.

This position requires someone who has the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while also being able to handle research and data entry tasks.

This position will require a significant amount of writing, and a successful candidate must possess exemplary writing skills and attention to detail.

This is a 24-hour publication, and the position requires a flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends, and some holidays.

Additional duties may be assigned.

Position Requirements Include The Following

• Basic knowledge of Wordpress
• Adherence to AP Style
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively

• Knowledge of copyright laws
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
• Ability to multi-task and handle constantly evolving deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Working knowledge of social media
• Knowledge of graphics software (even soft graphics) and audio/video software is a plus
