Job Description
As a Procurement Specialist, you'll manage the end-to-end procure-to-pay process, ensuring seamless transactions from requisition to invoice payment. You'll work closely with vendors to place orders, confirm pricing and availability, and address any delivery issues to meet departmental guidelines. Additionally, you'll be responsible for resolving invoice discrepancies and maintaining accurate documentation according to established procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Place orders with vendors and ensure accuracy in pricing and availability.
Expedite orders when necessary to meet operational needs.
Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to address any order-related issues.
Resolve invoice discrepancies promptly and maintain detailed records.
Assist in developing and implementing new processes to optimize procurement efficiency.
Uphold high standards of customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and addressing concerns.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or materials management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
