Procurement Specialist - Contract

One of our top non-profit clients is seeking a new Procurement Specialist to join their growing team! The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced work environment and display strong interpersonal / communication skills. This is a 1 year contract position with a completely remote schedule, but applicants must be in the Eastern Time Zone. The client is also looking for individuals who are ready to start immediately!

Role: Procurement Specialist

Location: Remote - Eastern Time Zone

Salary: $35 - $40 / hour

Responsibilities
  • Execute the procurement processes to ensure reviews of SOWs, Master Service Agreements, etc. are completed in a timely manner and follow all procurement processes, policies, and standards
  • Review incoming procurement requests and determine appropriate vehicles for requests
  • Engage all appropriate subject experts during the negotiation process to resolve any discrepancies
  • Ensure that institutional approvals are obtained, documentation forwarded, and all steps are taken to complete the contract review process
  • Serve as the point of contact for all contract / agreement questions that may arise throughout the duration of the project
  • Track and maintain timely records of the status of each contract
  • Provide reporting to management throughout the contract life-cycle
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 4 years of prior procurement or contract management experience
  • Procurement experience with a non-profit organization or university
  • Experience interacting with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Procure to Pay system experience
  • Advanced Excel Skills
