Overview
As a Procurement Manager, you'll play a crucial role in our organization, overseeing vendor relationships and optimizing our purchasing processes.
Responsibilities
Source and manage vendors through a streamlined purchasing process, focusing on technology agreements such as hardware, software, telecom, SAAS, IAAS, networking, and cloud services.
Collaborate with different departments to understand procurement needs and facilitate RFIs and RFPs.
Conduct thorough financial analyses to identify potential cost savings and assess alternative products and suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors to maximize value and ensure quality and timely delivery.
Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and company policies, ensuring compliance and managing any issues that arise.
Maintain a comprehensive inventory of contracts and manage contractual obligations effectively.
Support risk management initiatives and contribute to the development of supply chain quality policies and plans.
Serve as the primary contact point for vendors, fostering strong relationships and overseeing overall performance.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.
Experience: Over 4 years of experience in IT procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
Prior experience in business-to-business services, with a preference for backgrounds in related industries like background screening.
