Procurement Manager

Our client is a SaaS enterprise organization seeking to expand their Procurement team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating and identifying needs of the organization and stakeholders and oversee complex sourcing IT projects.
• Defining clear and specific requirements for equipment and services required; researching suppliers and directing the sourcing process.
• Implementing necessary processes and procedures to ensure effective and fair procurement practice within the organization.
• Manage staff and ensure project timelines and departmental goals are met.
• Identify needs and reduce unwanted product/service demand.
• Develop and maintain professional business relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain supplier database.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in a related area as an individual contributor and minimum 2 years of related supervisory experience
• Experience with IT contracts is preferred.
• Experience negotiating pricing, terms and service level agreements.
• Knowledge of industry standards and proficient with Procurement tools and procure-to-pay and sourcing processes.
• Knowledge of data centers, MSPs, IT security and cloud storage is a plus.
