Title: Procurement Manager

Salary: $110-125K

Location: Brooklyn

Schedule: Hybrid Role (3x a week in the office – days are flexible)

Company Profile: A fast-growing startup in the personal care space is looking to add a Procurement Manager to their team. This person will be responsible for managing procurement and purchasing operations and implement the strategy to provide the materials and services to meet organizational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing. This person will also maintain strategic supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and implement systems for monitoring performance, assessing risk, and responding to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain.

The Procurement Manager will Be Responsible For the Following:

• Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
• Manage vendor relationships, proactively identify issues and work cross-functionally internally and externally to mitigate out of stock risk
• Proactively analyze business requirements, demand and forecast patterns and make recommendations to smooth out variability by influencing and driving improvements with supplier capacity
• Develop and maintain supplier KPIs
• Manage and mentor a team of supply chain buyers

The Procurement Manager Should Have the Following Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years of procurement experience
• People management experience required
• Ability to function both independently and as part of a team; must be flexible and excited to grow with the organization
• Experience managing multiple vendors or clients
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP platform
