Procurement Manager

A leading manufacturer in the packaging industry is looking for a Procurement Manager that will be responsible for sourcing raw materials.

This is a hybrid role in Atlanta, GA and will require up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Procurement Process for raw packaging materials
• Research and negotiate vendor agreements and contracts
• Research market trends and understand inflation/deflation of category
• Support multiple plants
• Establish and manage key supplier relations and supplier negotiations
• Review suppliers and KPI development
• Work cross-functionally with other departments and executives within the company to execute short and long-term objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
• 5+ years packaging Procurement experience
• Proven leadership skills
• Proven supplier relationship experience
• Proven cross-functional experience
• Both verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to network effectively in the industry
