The Role: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing of goods and services necessary for ARMRA’s operations. You will play a vital role in ensuring cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and quality in our procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of strategic procurement, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Develop and manage the procurement budget, ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement strategies to achieve savings.
  • Working with the Director of Supply Chain and Sr. Director of Finance to forecast procurement needs and maintain appropriate inventory levels to support operational activities.
  • Partner with the Sr. Manager of Production for end-to-end raw material purchase order oversight and management 
  • Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices to optimize procurement processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in procurement practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Experience negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous pricing and favorable terms is a plus


Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, Cin7 and/or Netsuite experience are a must
  • Accounting experience is a HUGE plus, as well as familiarity with Bill.com and similar invoicing platforms 
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. 
  • 3-5+ years of proven experience in procurement management, preferably in the CPG industry. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of effectively leading and developing teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to procurement activities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong commitment to integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all procurement activities.
