About The Role
We're looking for a proactive Project Coordinator with a strong focus on procurement to join our remote team. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our Supply Chain/Logistics Manager on diverse projects involving multiple vendors. Your main responsibilities will include planning, purchasing, production scheduling, sourcing packaging materials, managing inventory, and coordinating logistics. You'll also play a key role in vendor relationship management, ensuring smooth operations and cost efficiency.
What You'll Do
Support the Supply Chain/Logistics Manager in internal planning, including purchasing, production, and shipping logistics.
Manage the end-to-end logistics strategy for projects to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.
Evaluate shipping methods and negotiate rates with vendors and carriers.
Foster strong relationships with vendors and distributors to optimize procurement processes.
Handle procurement documentation and manage supplier contracts effectively.
Conduct regular follow-ups with vendors to track project status and negotiate terms.
Ensure timely processing of shipping requests and monitor shipment volumes.
Provide regular updates on project statuses to senior management.
