The Procurement Analyst performs reporting analysis for Purchasing and other departments as necessary. This individual develops new reports as required and maintains and improves existing reports. The Procurement Analyst is expected to be the primary contact for any reporting requests or requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Optimize and/or recreate existing tools and reports for the improvement of Purchasing and Operations
Regularly monitor and maintain report outputs to identify potential operations issues
Analyze monthly forecasts for forecast accuracy, track changes and trends
Analyze inventory position regarding burn down, excess and report as requested
Provide material reporting support for new products and in-development products
Support OTD metrics and reporting based on corporate requirements
Create database(s) to record/archive ERP states set on a regular cadence to monitor supply/demand changes over time
Create, maintain and monitor operations ERP parameters to flag issues such as missing and/or incorrect item settings
Monitor Purchasing Dept activities to create and develop tools to assist and streamline daily tasks for improved efficiencies.
Provide communication to various departments regarding data and reporting gathered through various tools
Work with Business Systems team to understand forecasts and EAU for Operations
Work with respective departments to minimize supply chain interruption and delivery slowdown
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications and/or Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
5+ years of Business Operations analysis experience
Strong communication and coordination skills
Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
Experience with MRP and ERP systems
Experience with Excel, SQL, PowerBI, DAX expressions, Power Query, Access, Azure, Dataflows, Power Automate
Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $74,000 to $93,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
