Procurement Analyst

As a Procurement Analyst at Corcentric, you will join a fun, collaborative team within an ambitious, entrepreneurial global organization. You will become an expert in Corcentric's S2P solutions and how our services enable and enhance customers' business processes. You will be hands-on and manage the buying process for customers, reviewing and optimizing purchase order processes, buying methods, and selected channels. You will manage non-strategic sourcing activity to drive savings with customers' preferred suppliers. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, and ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with Corcentric's Source to Pay clients as well as internal cross-functional teams. You will be proficient working independently on tasks and projects, as directed by senior team members.

This role is eligible for voluntary work-from-home consideration. In order to be considered for this position, you should live within a commutable distance to one of these office locations, even if you plan to request a work-from-home arrangement, as there may be times when in-person meetings, training sessions, social events, or similar activities are held onsite.

As a Procurement Analyst, you will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of your assigned customers' business, processes, and the system configuration supporting their service.
  • Manage sourcing requests through the Corcentric Platform, conducting bidding events (RFQ/RFP) for goods or services and supporting relevant supplier negotiations during bidding evaluations.
  • Support supplier identification, vetting, and onboarding requests
  • Manage catalog content for related suppliers in the Corcentric Platform
  • Support the implementation of new S2P Managed Services customers through review of business requirements, testing processes and use case scenarios.
  • Manage and upkeep procurement services process documentation for your assigned customers
  • Partner with Customer Support and Service Delivery teams on procurement process issue resolution
  • Review and analyze customer purchase requisitions and orders for completeness and optimal structure
  • Train and coach customers on how to optimally structure orders using the Corcentric Platform to ensure a seamless buying process and avoid downstream issues
  • Analyze buying data to report on trends and/or fluctuations and make recommendations for expense savings or process efficiency such as consolidating suppliers, setting up catalogs, or restructuring orders
  • Ensure adherence to agreed service levels and represent Corcentric and your customer with professionalism.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve the buying process for your customers and identify system or process improvements to the Managed Services leaders.
  • Regularly monitor, analyze and report on a range of operational and tactical procurement KPIs' and other success metrics with the purpose of enabling and supporting informed decision making (internally and externally) and continuous improvement.
  • Define success in terms of your customer's point of view and drive customer satisfaction
  • Support the implementation of newly defined KPIs' and/or customer specific metrics


Requirements

 You'll need to have:

  • 2+ years' experience utilizing technology to automate procurement or accounts payable processes
  • A degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Technology, or commensurate work experience
  • Strong skills analyzing data, metrics, and trends including reporting findings. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience, including exporting and manipulating large data sets, creating pivot tables, data visualizations, and building basic formulas such as VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, SUMIFs, etc.
  • A strong sense of personal accountability, with a focus on seeing a project from initial brainstorming through testing, planning, onboarding, implementation, and adoption.
  • Self-motivation and forward-thinking mindset, with the drive to innovate and improve processes.
  • Confident and effective communication skills, with the ability to present information concisely and professionally
  • The ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines, demonstrating a "can do" attitude towards task and deliverables
  • MS PowerPoint experience 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to multi-task

It's great if you also have:

  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P) or Source-to-Pay (S2P) system deployment experience
