Job Title: Process Transformation Specialist - TEMP

A little bit about our team:

The Finance Transformation (FIT) Program team is a group of professionals across the WMG organization brought together to determine the best infrastructure and process design for an efficient, effective and sustainable future finance organization. The team will design future state, best practices, value add activities and technology enabling finance to be a strategic partner to a growth business.

Your role:

The Process Transformation Specialist will help ensure the successful delivery of the overall transformation portfolio and lead the design, development and support of the future state budget and forecast process. The role will touch many key areas of the business and work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the global finance team.

Here you’ll get to:

  • Serve as Finance subject matter expert and Global Process Lead on RTR related initiatives and system implementations, representing royalty accounting requirements and considerations from design through deployment.
  • Interface directly with key business stakeholders to ensure their data needs are being met through the design and implementation of the transformation
  • Manage testing activities of the royalty solution, defining test scenarios and scripts, test execution and coordination and facilitation of end user acceptance testing.
  • Manage testing and hypercare defects through identification, root cause analysis, and coordination of defect prioritization. Working closely with the technical team on resolution plan.
  • Support data cleansing and conversion activities for financial and master data.
  • Develop relevant training materials, business process flows, control documentation and SOP’s, and supported training delivery to accounting, finance and business team members.
  • Provide regular process updates & action plans to senior executives across the finance community in partnership
  • Develop, manage and supervise project timelines to ensure effective transition during and post go-live
  • Gather new requirements and design/build the functional specification for interfaces and operational reports

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • 10+ years finance / EPR implementation related experience
  • A proven track record of working on large scale, fast-paced, complex and dynamic projects in a global company
  • Strong analytical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong sense of accountability, attention to detail, ownership of results and customer focus
  • Interpersonal skills to work effectively with leadership and SMEs from various business units
  • Knack for effectively distilling down complex requirements into clear, concise, and actionable reporting strategies
  • A questioning, curious mind with a desire to continuously improve status quo

Salary Range

$77.00 to $103.00 Hourly

Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
