Process Technician

AWS/CES is looking for a Process Technician for our manufacturing client.

• Location: Streetsboro, OH
• 2nd Shift
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 3 pm to 11:30 pm
• Salary: $25-$30/h (DOE)
• Direct Hire position

Job Description:

Are you an experienced Process Technician with a knack for leadership and a passion for continuous improvement? Join our client’s dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring our machines operate at peak levels of quality and efficiency. Drive improvements, develop, train, and motivate team members through your knowledge and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and train team members.
• Implement and maintain training procedures.
• Complete machine changeovers and monitor processes.
• Maintain setup records and submit quality inspections.
• Perform minor machine repairs and adjustments.
• Assemble equipment and tooling for production runs.
• Ensure efficient production and help achieve production goals.
• Communicate production information daily.
• Drive process improvements and root cause analysis.
• Inspect and maintain tooling for production runs.
• Maintain documentation on processing and tooling issues.
• Follow and improve company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Process non-conformance defects and update documentation.
• Perform 6S activities to organize workstations.
• Assist in daily cleaning and maintenance of production areas.
• Attend operational and safety meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of health and safety policies.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions.

Education and Experience:

• High School Education or equivalent.
• 2+ years of machine troubleshooting and setup in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience training employees.

Note: This role is based on the client’s new OH plant, opening in June 2025. Join them as part of the founding team for their 2nd US factory, helping to establish them in the community. You'll work in a cutting-edge, sustainable environment. Comprehensive training will be provided in McPherson, KS, with accommodation costs covered. During training, the company will provide and cover local housing and transportation. Specific details on relocation packages and travel requirements will be discussed.
