Private Equity Vice President

Selby Jennings has been engaged by an Austin-based private equity firm in the search for a Vice President for their investment team. This group's strategy focuses on control equity positions in lower middle market businesses across nearly all industries. They have recently closed an oversubscribed second fund on the back of the top quartile returns already generated for investors. This individual will engage in the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and execution to portfolio management and exit, as well as the mentorship and development of junior staff.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of four years' buyside investment experience in a private equity environment
• Proven success directly leading multiple buyout transactions, specifically within the lower middle market (<$20M EBIDTA)
• Established track record working with portfolio companies and executives to drive value creation and significant, sustained growth
• A career foundation of two years' experience in investment banking covering M&A transactions
