Job Title: Private Credit Associate

Location: Los Angeles, California

We at H&P are partnered with a leading asset management firm, looking to onboard an associate into their Private Credit team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Origination and Deal Sourcing: Develop relationships and strategies to source new investment opportunities.
• Credit Analysis and Underwriting: Conduct financial analysis and due diligence, preparing investment memoranda for the committee.
• Deal Structuring and Execution: Negotiate and structure financing arrangements, oversee legal documentation, and manage closings.
• Portfolio Management: Monitor portfolio performance, address risks, and support portfolio companies.
• Market Analysis and Strategy: Stay updated on market trends and contribute to investment strategy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
• 2-4 years Investment banking experience, specifically within the Leveraged finance team
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong industry network preferred.
