+ Production Coordinator, you will handle all aspects of print production for assigned projects.


The Print + Production Coordinator will work closely with other agency departments such as Project Management, Account Management and the Design Team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the quality standards of our clients. They will collaborate with designers to format artwork, ensure print quality standards are met, and will often collect, process and organize files.


The Print Production Coordinator won’t necessarily make major design decisions — they will take final design files and set them up for final production. They will thoroughly review all files ensuring that the specs, color settings and file types are correct. They will ensure every detail is in perfect order before packaging and sending off to the vendor or client.


What you will do...

  • Report into Account Director and partner with larger MODHealth team
  • Collaborate with Production Management and Finance teams
  • Manage all print procurement, including vendor management, estimate creation, print proof review/approval, attestation/ADA/CQF submission and review, and ensure proper handling of PHI
  • Digital asset management, including Client DAM upload and management, Box management and organization, Jig management and organization
  • Interprets print + production needs per project and develops creative solutions.
  • Assists design team as a whole with any print + production needs and recommends specifications, paper and print processes.
  • Coordinates with vendors, requests quotations and establishes print timelines for both client and internal projects.
  • Communicates with vendors to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • Sources new vendors when needed for projects.
  • Maintains an organizes the MOD vendor master list that is distributed/updated on an ongoing basis.
  • Coordinates print + production projects with the design team and project management.
  • Assists Project Management in developing schedules that cover the lifespan of print + production projects.
  • Works with Project Management and the Design Team to establish and review the correct specifications for the project deliverables.
  • Works with Project Management to manage schedules, keep control of the timeline and alert the team of possible issues or delays.
  • Is knowledgeable of printing processes and offers recommendations for print + production projects.
  • Is knowledgeable of apparel manufacturing processes and offer recommendations for apparel + soft good projects.
  • Sources materials/merch/swag items for various projects.
  • Is involved from the start of print + packaging projects to brainstorm printing methods/techniques before design connecting.
  • Communicates printing specifications, pricing and timelines with design, project management and account teams.
  • Oversees print set-ups for projects designers are preparing for print.
  • Develops a full understand of clients’ brand guidelines.
  • Ensures that project and art processes are followed in accordance with guidelines established for each client.
  • Reviews all proofs from vendors.


Your Credentials

  • Ideal candidate has prior experience at an agency, client or vendor.
  • An interest in all things print, and a desire to learn the technical aspects of production.
  • Experience working with different types of printers, printing methods and design agencies/creatives (not just in-house printing for single-brand companies).
  • High school degree or equivalent required. College degree highly recommended.


Technical Knowledge

  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Microsoft Office Suite of Products.
