Print Producer

Our client, a marketing and advertising agency in Playa Vista, CA is looking for a Print Producer for a 40-hour/week that requires 5-days/week in office. This role will be starting immediately and will be through the middle of October 2024 with the possibility for extension. The position requires a robust background in Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising and a meticulous project manager, adept at coordinating large-scale print projects from conception through completion. This role demands a deep understanding of OOH media, strong vendor management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Print Producer will collaborate closely with creative teams, account managers, and vendors to ensure the highest quality and timely delivery of print materials that align with their clients' strategic objectives.

This is a 5-day/week onsite position in Playa Vista.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end production process for OOH print projects, including billboards, transit ads, and other large-format media.
• Collaborate with creative and account teams to understand project requirements and develop production timelines.
• Source and manage relationships with print vendors, ensuring competitive pricing, high quality, and timely delivery.
• Coordinate pre-production activities, including proofing, color correction, and material selection.
• Monitor production quality and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the printing process.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for OOH media.
• Manage budgets, track expenses, and provide detailed cost reports to stakeholders.
• Oversee the installation process, coordinating with vendors and ensuring adherence to project specifications and deadlines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of print production technologies and trends in OOH advertising.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in print production, with a focus on OOH advertising.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale print projects within a marketing or advertising agency.
• Strong understanding of print production processes, materials, and techniques.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and consistency.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
