Print Producer

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Print Producer to manage the logistical aspects of the production shoot. This person will serve as the primary point of contact for all production-related inquiries and updates. They will facilitate clear and consistent communication between creative teams, vendors and stakeholders. This role reports into the leadership team of Creative and Marketing.

This is an open-ended contract role that focuses on coordinating all operational elements to ensure the smooth execution of the project, from pre-production through to delivery. Chicago-based candidates only! Fully onsite schedule.

Print Producer Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring timely completion of all deliverables
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to secure necessary resources and approvals
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to optimize cost and quality
• Organize and oversee all logistics for the production shoot, including location scouting, securing permits and arranging transportation
• Ensure all equipment and materials are available and in good working condition for the shoot
• Conduct on-site inspections during the shoot to maintain quality and resolve any issues promptly
  
  

Print Producer Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Print Production, Project Management or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in print production management, preferably within an educational or public sector environment
• Proven track record of managing complex production shoots and coordinating large-scale print projects
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Knowledge of print production processes, techniques and industry standards
