Principal Scientist – Food Manufacturing - Midwest Location


Salary Up To $125,000 + Benefits + Bonus & Paid Relocation to the Midwest


Ready to work for a leader in the food manufacturing industry? Our client has a great opportunity for a Principal Scientist with dairy experience to lead new product development focusing on Co-drying and dry blending combinations of dairy, dairy flavors, seasonings, flavors, colors, and other ingredients; Seasoning and flavor development; Agglomeration and instantization of powders.


Minimum Requirements for this Principal Scientist position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, biology, chemistry, chemical engineering or related field required
  • Graduate degree in Food Science, microbiology, biology, chemistry, chemical engineering or related field required (work experience may be substituted for the required graduate education on a year-for-year basis)
  • At least 10 years’ experience working in R&D, product development, or innovation at food or ingredient company preferred
  • Proven successful track record in new product development with multiple examples of commercialized products/solutions directly or under your leadership.
