You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize analytical opportunities, working closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable data science projects. Additionally, you will lead a team of data scientists, providing technical guidance and mentoring, while staying up-to-date with the latest trends in data science and incorporating them into our processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical modeling and data analysis, along with expertise in programming, machine learning, and data visualization tools. Technical Qualifications:

• AWS Mastery: Deep expertise in the AWS cloud platform, especially the services relevant to data science such as SageMaker, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, and Lambda.
• 2Data Architecture: Comprehensive understanding of AWS data lake architecture, database design, and best practices around large-scale data processing.
• 3Big Data Technologies: Hands-on experience with big data tools available in the AWS ecosystem like Athena, Glue, and DynamoDB.
• Machine Learning: Proficiency in using AWS machine learning tools and services, including but not limited to SageMaker, Rekognition, and Comprehend.
• Serverless Computing: Experience with AWS serverless architectures and associated technologies such as Lambda and API Gateway.
• Integration: Ability to integrate AWS data services with on-premises applications and external software solutions.
• Data Security and Compliance: Solid understanding of AWS security best practices, especially concerning data protection and IAM policies.
• Industry-specific Tools: Experience with Oil and Gas specific tools and applications in AWS.
• Domain Knowledge: Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the Oil and Gas domain.
• Technology Leadership: Proven track record in driving technological change and its widespread adoption across large organizations.
