Overview:

As part of our global People Team, you will play a key role in driving transformation and innovation in our People organization. You will be part of a team of fun, innovative, and passionate people tasked with rolling out our new People strategy and supporting the growth and evolution of PTC.

The Compensation Consultant will play a strategic role in the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of sales compensation programs, policies, and procedures on a global basis and ensure alignment with the business strategy, goals, and objectives.



This role will report to the SVP, Total Rewards and will collaborate closely with members of the Global Compensation team, the People Team, Finance, and line management to deliver competitive compensation programs throughout the organization

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct competitive analyses ranging from ad-hoc to complex proposals for management teams
  • Model complex global analyses and proposals with particular focus on short and long-term incentive plans
  • Provide internal support for the People team on all issues related to the application of PTC’s compensation programs
  • Ensure PTC’s pay programs are competitive with the market while maintaining internal equity
  • Implement global compensation programs that remain consistent with local market conditions, company-wide financial goals, and PTC’s business strategy and HR strategy
  • Play a lead role in global compensation program management including merit, incentive, and stock


Skills and Knowledge:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the compensation field with a focus on sales compensation
  • Expertise in short and long-term incentive plan design
  • Experience working in a global SaaS company
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical skills
  • A minimum of intermediate Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment while dealing with ambiguity required
  • Ability to manage projects effectively while juggling multiple priorities
  • Effective problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to exercise judgment and to make decisions independently
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred
