Functional Summary As part of our current growth plan, SeaCube is looking for a highly motivated Pricing Manager. In this key role, working closely with the VP, New Business Development and FP&A, you will be responsible for setting, maintaining, and monitoring prices for our company’s products and services. Working in close cooperation with the Commercial teams around the world, you will support business activity by providing market, competition, and revenue insights and by driving the pricing agenda, thereby ensuring we maximize the commercial value of each deal. This position requires a combination of strong analytical skills, and business acumen. The ideal candidate analyzes market trends and customer feedback to ensure that the company’s pricing strategies are competitive and attractive to target customers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Develop and maintain dynamic pricing models and strategies that help maximize profit while ensuring competitive pricing Monitor actual performance, analyze customer behavior and market trends, and update pricing model inputs as needed to reflect changes in the market Develop and maintain pricing guidelines, procedures, databases and systems, identifying additional innovative technologies to create a competitive advantage Critical member of the cross-functional “deal team” participating in pricing negotiations Create Key Performance Indicators and Metrics and prepare high-quality materials and supporting documentation to share with senior management in a clear and concise manner Collaborate with other departments to ensure pricing accuracy and alignment with company goals Identify and communicate ideas to improve and streamline processes, assess potential risks and devise appropriate risk mitigation strategies Develop a strong understanding of SeaCube’s operating businesses, including ad-hoc analysis over certain business lines, products, or operational metrics Contribute to the various global improvement and transformation initiatives that will reshape the way SeaCube monetizes its services in the future Qualifications & Skills Experience building pricing models, conducting market and customer research, and implementing pricing strategies Ability to clearly articulate a situation, the relevant facts and considerations, and make well-reasoned recommendations A professional, positive attitude, capable of contributing to a dynamic and team-oriented culture Proactive and self-driven, capable of working by themselves or as part of a larger team and with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills Strong business acumen and knowledge of pricing tools and techniques Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite of applications, including the ability to review and update financial models and prepare high-quality presentations Able to strike the right balance between customer and company interests Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field, master’s degree a plus 5+ years of relevant work experience in pricing in a corporate environment preferred A strong interest in transportation, logistics, shipping, infrastructure and real assets All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, disability, national origin, or veteran status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
