Position Summary

Perform preventative maintenance on die cast machines, Machining equipment, and all auxiliary equipment.

Adhere to the 6S Principles and strive to continuously improve our performance through Quality, People, Safety, Technology and Sustainability.

Essential Functions

  • Perform PM’s for all diecasting and CNC equipment.
  • Assist in developing PM procedures for new and existing equipment based on equipment failures or conditions.
  • Use proper tools and gaging equipment as required to complete required tasks.
  • Work within the required software to close out work orders
  • Identify potential sources of breakdowns.
  • Issue out wearable items as needed to complete required tasks.
  • Issue work orders as needed for required support.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Heavy Manufacturing Environment with exposure to noise, excessive heat and cold, dirt, grease, smoke, dust, and molten metal. Working aloft, bending, and awkward positions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Physical exertion required with occasional lifting of up to 70 pounds. Regularly stand for long periods of time as well as walk with occasionally bend, twist, and move about the facility. Travel required from site to site.

Qualifications

Must have completed, or be willing to complete and be actively enrolled in school, a 1-year certificate in industrial maintenance courses. Must be a self starter and possess mechanical aptitude. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds. Knowledge of PLC programs, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical is required.
