Press Operator (3rd shift)

Allegra Marketing Print Mail in Plymouth, Michigan, is a full-service commercial printer serving local, regional, and national clients. We are looking for a Press Operator/Press Helper to work on our 40” Heidelberg KBA. Job Duties:

• Assisting in the operation of offset presses
• Participating in effective make-readies
• Efficient production speeds
• Ability to conduct quality checks
• Troubleshooting skills
• Quality checks
• Mixing of inks
• Knowledge of machine maintenance
• Performance of preventative maintenance
• Maintenance performed as scheduled and required
• Maintain logbook of maintenance performed
• Knowledge of systems and procedures
• Knowledge of training plans, controls, work instructions, ISO, etc
• Allocating stock, performing data collection in company MIS system
  
  

Knowledge and Skill Preferred but not Required:

• 3 – 5 years of experience on full sheet multi-unit offset/sheetfed presses
• 3 – 5 years of experience/knowledge of commercial printing
• Good organizational skills
• Experience preferred, but not required
