Position Overview: As our esteemed CEO prepares for retirement, we seek a forward-thinking, inspirational, and emotionally intelligent leader to guide this credit union into the future. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the President/CEO will implement and oversee board policies and decisions, ensuring financial stability and member satisfaction. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction, leadership, and management across all functional areas, ensuring the organization remains a pillar of financial excellence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the organization in strategic planning, vision setting, and execution of long-term goals.
  • Ensure the financial stability and growth of the credit union.
  • Oversee all operational aspects, including physical facilities, personnel, insurance, records maintenance, accounting, budgeting, and educational programs.
  • Develop new programs and services to meet member needs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations.
  • Facilitate Board of Directors and committee meetings, providing necessary information and updates.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years in senior management within a financial institution, preferably a credit union.
  • Proven track record of success in leadership roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or additional certifications preferred.
  • Strong understanding of technology and its application in financial services.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
