Overview:

A national property services firm, servicing some of the largest institutional real estate owners in the world is seeking a President to oversee and grow one of the Company's growing service lines. The President will be primarily responsible for building and maintaining the commercial grounds service line on behalf of the company. This pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping the future of this service offering, driving the company’s mission to deliver unparalleled grounds maintenance solutions to clients. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial visionary with a strong drive to expand and elevate the Company's established service line

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan that aligns with the company's vision and goals. Formulate long-term strategies to ensure sustained growth and market leadership.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of landscape professionals. Work alongside HR on recruitment, training, and development to ensure excellence in service delivery.
  • Drive efforts to attract and secure new clients, fostering strong, lasting relationships with institutional real estate owners. Maintain a keen focus on client satisfaction and service quality.
  • Spearhead initiatives to expand company footprint in the commercial real estate sector. Identify new business opportunities and innovative service offerings.
  • Work closely with the Managing Partner to align strategies, resources, and objectives. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork and shared success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the landscape services or related industry.
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of developing and executing successful business plans.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to attract and manage high-profile clients.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for growth and innovation.
  • Relevant certifications or specialized training is a plus
  • Previous experience in commercial property management, facilities management, or related fields required
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Yardi or comparable accounting applications.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast paced/high-pressure environment. Candidate should be flexible, resilient, and able to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, managers, engineers, vendors, and tenants in a professional manner.
