Preservation Driver

ViaSun Corporation is seeking a reliable and experienced Preservation Driver to join our team. As a Preservation Driver, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering construction and preservation equipment and materials, ensuring their safe and timely arrival at designated destinations.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and regulations
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, wear PPE within designated areas, and ensure proper handling and securing of equipment and materials.
• Plan and optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while maximizing fuel efficiency
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, reporting any issues to management
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, delivery confirmations, and any incidents
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring positive interactions with clients and addressing any concerns or issues that arise
  
  

To qualify for this role, you should have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Previous experience as a driver in a similar role is preferred. You must be detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently while adhering to tight schedules.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL driver's license and DOT medical card is required
• Minimum 2 years experience as a driver in a similar role is preferred
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and willingness to work flexible hours to meet project schedules
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
