The Preschool Teacher is a part-time position whose main responsibilities include providing a fun and educational environment fostering gradual transition from parents; developing cognitive, fine and large motor skill through play, art, stories and songs; and/or focusing on lifelong learning skills through readiness activities in math, science, pre-reading and pre-writing. The preschool program will be from 9am-12pm with the opportunity to extend the day with lunch and enrichment classes starting in October.
Teachers can anticipate working 10-25 hours a week depending on their schedule.
This position will begin September 9th, 2024 and it will end May 23rd, 2025.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age.
Bachelor’s degree in Education/Early Childhood, or related field preferred.
Previous Experience Working With Preschool Aged Children Required.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30am-1:15pm
or
Monday - Friday: 8:30am-1:15pm
Working Conditions:
Teacher may have to lift a participant (in the absence of a parent) for consoling if hurt or crying.
Teacher may be required to work during various weather and building conditions; primary responsibilities are indoors.
Hourly Range:
$18+ depending on experience
