Preschool Teacher

Our preschool is now seeking wonderfully passionate and motivated Teachers for: our infants room, our one year old's room, and our 2-3 year old's classroom who has an interest in teaching STEAM / Science lessons. This position starts at $16/hour. In addition, you will receive a SIGN-ON INCENTIVE OF 40 HOURS OF VACATION TIME OFF AFTER SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF YOUR 90 DAYS PROBATIONARY PERIOD, TO BE TAKEN WITHIN YOUR FIRST YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT.

Skills/Requirements

• Must have a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or equivalent.
• Must have the 40-45 hours DCF Childcare Licensing training (Part 1, Part 2, and Early Literacy for Children Age Birth Through Three) and must have passed the exams.
• Must have a High School diploma or GED; and at least one (1) year of experience working in a child care facility.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Two (2) or more years of experience working with infants through pre-kindergarten in a child care facility.
• Advanced training in CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse and/or Child Development.
