The Goddard School of Las Vegas (Enterprise) is hiring a Director for our early education facility in Southwest Las Vegas! We're seeking a talented leader passionate about nurturing young minds and making a positive impact. In this role, you'll drive growth and development while working closely with our Director of Education to ensure every child's needs are met and compliance with licensing requirements is maintained.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Striving for Excellence: Manage all office operations, including enrolling new families, ensuring the accuracy of all enrollment documentation, entering information into various systems of record, and creating/keeping organized files with all required documents in place for licensing and QA inspections.
  • Inspiring Communication: Take the lead in our center's communication strategy, developing engaging monthly themes, newsletters, and social media posts. Through effective communication, you will foster a sense of community and keep parents informed and involved. Must be comfortable answering phones, conducting tours, and interfacing with parents and prospective families.
  • Streamlined Operations: Manage payroll and other HR functions efficiently, ensuring that our facility operates smoothly and adheres to all policies and procedures. Your attention to detail will create a seamless experience for both staff and families. Keeping track of all maintenance schedules and issues as well as tracking weekly inventory, supplies, and sanitizing schedules.
  • Building a Dream Team: Recruit and develop a team of "best in class" educators who share your enthusiasm for early childhood education. Foster their professional growth and create a collaborative environment where their passion can thrive.
  • Building Bridges: Forge strong and positive relationships with families, teachers, community partners, and state licensing authorities. By working closely with these stakeholders, you will ensure that our facility provides an exceptional experience for every child and family.
  • Innovation and Growth: Utilize best practices to enhance our center's enrollment and revenue, while introducing exciting new programs such as summer camps and after-school activities. Your creative ideas will shape the future of our facility and make it a hub of educational excellence.
  • Educational Excellence: Partner with our Education Director to implement comprehensive education services. Provide guidance, training, coaching, and ongoing support to our dedicated teachers, ensuring they have the tools they need to deliver outstanding instruction.
  • Empowering Leadership: Delegate authority as needed, empowering others while also building their leadership capacity. By fostering a culture of growth and shared responsibility, you will create an environment where everyone can thrive.
  • Cultivating a Flourishing Environment: Maintain up-to-date policies and procedures, including our facility handbook, emergency preparedness plan, and employee handbook. Your commitment to excellence will ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all.


To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven track record of success in both classroom and administrative roles within a preschool setting, with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Must demonstrate the ability to cultivate an exceptional learning environment while also possessing knowledge of Nevada State childcare licensing policies and procedures.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education OR a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, supplemented by at least six (6) courses in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Must meet Director certification requirements in Nevada.
  • Must be able to use a computer at an advanced level and related software like Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive, etc). Must be able to use social media and create compelling posts with calls to action to drive leads and enrollment.
  • An owner mindset, with demonstrated experience boosting enrollment and implementing new revenue-generating programs.


Physical Demands required:

In this role, you'll communicate verbally, answer phones, and use computers and filing systems. You'll need good vision for various tasks. The job requires standing and walking for extended periods, with some sitting and interacting with children at their level. Physical activities like bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds are common. Occasionally, you may lift up to 50 pounds. The work environment tends to have moderate to high noise levels.
