Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Prep Cook at VC Event Professionals. The Prep Cook will be responsible for preparing and portioning food items, following recipes and food safety guidelines, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. The Prep Cook will also collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and timely preparation of ingredients. Job locations vary throughout Sonoma Valley and Napa Valley.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Prep Cook in a fine dining establishment or in a similar role
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to follow recipes and portion sizes accurately
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food handler's certification is a must
• Experience in a catering or event setting is a plus
