Our client a leading Commercial general contractor based in Dallas, TX are looking to grow their team with a Senior Estimator. The company focus on Healthcare, Retail, Education, Hospitality, Restaurants, Education both ground up and interiors with projects ranging from 3M - 100M in value.
The Senior Estimator will be responsible for estimating and determining budgets, conceptual pricing, and overall costs of new and existing construction projects working in a team of 8.
Responsibilities:
Verify material quantities
Relationship maintenance with client and vendor
Prepare detailed cost estimates and conceptual estimates for new projects
Develop competitive bids for new work
Subcontractor vetting
Provide cost reduction ideas
Build relationships with contractors and assess market conditions
Qualifications:
B.A. or B.S.in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture or equivalent experience
5+ years of estimating experience on multi-discipline projects
Proficient use of estimating software
Compensation:
$120,000 - $145,000 base salary
Up to 20% bonus
Auto Allowance - $400/ $600 per month
cell phone allowance - $100 per month
