Perform prepress operations required to manipulate and enhance customer provided artwork. Setup as required for production on specific digital press or other equipment. Maintain calibration of prepress equipment and file maintenance.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Review and understand all paperwork, drawings, and specifications for the job. Insures that all paperwork is complete and correct
Operate scanner and graphic arts computer equipment including Mac and PC
Proficient in all required graphic arts software to include Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign
Knowledgeable of all required RIP software for output devices
Put together layouts and other art revisions on software suite
Manipulate and enhance customer-supplied artwork to provide press ready files and create and save proof for 4 color process
Maintain archiving of art files on the server
Maintain a neat and organized work area at all times
Help in development of solutions and procedures to improve workflow
Foster a safe work environment. Must read, understand and abide by the General Safety Rules of Federal Heath Sign Company
Other duties as assigned.
