Position Overview

Kona Medical Consulting is looking for a Concierge Medicine Physician for a client located in Grand Rapids and/or Charlotte, NC. The details are as follows:

As a Physician, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional patient care within our Practice Units. You will play a vital role in shaping the health and wellness of our patients, ensuring that they receive the highest standards of medical care and support.

Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with a range of stakeholders within our corporate team and physician owned PLLC to develop and implement innovative healthcare solutions that enhance our patient care services.

Objectives Of This Role

  • Provide high-quality medical care aligned with the goals and mission of Joyn Health, ensuring patient-centered treatment and support.
  • Deliver medical leadership within your practice unit, fostering excellence in patient care and clinical practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards in your medical practice.
  • Participate in the implementation and utilization of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring it meets the unique needs of our healthcare model.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and uphold policies and procedures that promote quality improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Represent Joyn Health by participating in industry forums and conferences, contributing to thought leadership in the medical community.

Your Tasks

  • Provide direct patient care, diagnosing and treating illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in medical care.
  • Foster a strong collaborative relationship with the operational and clinical teams.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive medical policies and procedures.
  • Provide medical consultation and support to other departments and executives within the organization.
  • Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement, monitoring patient outcomes and implementing strategies to enhance care delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including medical associations, government bodies, and community organizations.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, research, and best practices in healthcare to ensure that our services remain at the forefront of medical advancements.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • A valid license to practice medicine in the United States.
  • 10+ years of experience in a clinical setting, with at least 3 years in a role involving leadership or administrative responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives and drive clinical excellence.
  • Comprehensive understanding of medical laws, regulations, and current medical advancements.
  • Experience in developing and implementing medical care procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of healthcare economics, including budgeting and resource management.
  • Proficiency in strategic planning, risk management, and crisis response in healthcare settings.

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

  • An advanced degree in healthcare management, business, public health, or a related field.
  • Expertise in healthcare technology, digital transformation, and data analytics to drive innovation and improve clinical processes.
  • Adequate knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and legal requirements in the United States.
  • Ability to navigate complex business relationships and engage with multiple stakeholders effectively.
