💰 Salary: $130,000-$170,000

This is an amazing opportunity to join a fast-paced scale-up in the smart grid space!

The company use AI, ML and data modelling to provide Intelligent Energy-As-A-Service to tackle the challenges businesses face as they move towards a Net Zero carbon future. Their award-winning AI Platform allows businesses to control demand response participation, energy performance, markets and costs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, test, and implement an AI energy trading solution which has already been developed for other international power markets.
• Oversee a successful build, ensure the application is tested sufficiently and delivered for use by our own and third party trading desks.
• Support sales and engage with market operators and key stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3+ years experience as a power trader in ERCOT and CAISO
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering or related field
• Day Ahead Energy, Real-Time Energy, Frequency and Reserve markets trading and operations experience
• Conceptual understanding of AI-based trading
• Experience with any of the following markets is a plus: MISO, PJM, NYISO, or ISONE
• Conceptual understanding of AI-based trading and experience in product sales is a bonus
• Experience with all asset types and a clear understanding of optimizing energy storage and demand side response is preferential.
• Knowledge of how all energy (DAM, RT) and ancillary markets (frequency, reserve) operate and settle to inform delivery
