Power Generation Business Development Manager (HGA-R)

The Power Generation Business Development Account Manager is a direct-hire position working for HGA to increase the number of Power and Energy clients and related projects. The position can be located in The Woodlands, TX, Ruston, LA, Baton Rouge, LA, Dallas, TX, or Tulsa, OK.

Power Generation Business Development Account Manager Duties

  • Drive the development and promotion of the HGA Power Generation engineering business by proactively identifying and pursuing business opportunities in Power Generation including:
  • Combustion Turbine, Reciprocating Engine, and Renewable Energy projects including solar, green hydrogen, ammonia and energy storage projects.
  • Transmission, Distribution, Substation, Land Acquisition and Field Service projects.
  • Identify opportunities for additional product offerings, collaborate with management to assess and vet potential suppliers, and establish strong partnerships to enhance our product portfolio.
  • Achieve new and add-on business with existing clients by developing and enhancing key client relationships and serving as one of the primary company contacts.
  • Provide leadership in the development of client relationships, capture planning, strategy, pursuit and proposal activities.
  • Participate in project scoping and costing and proposal preparation, interviews, and negotiations to the extent required.

Qualifications:Power Generation Business Development Account Manager Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in the Power Generation industry in Business Development, Engineering, or Project Management capacities required.
  • Strong client network within the Utilities Sector including Power Gen, Battery Storage, Solar and other Alternate Energy solutions.
  • Prior experience working with utilities or engineering consulting services firms required
  • Must be located in Ruston, LA or Baton Rouge, LA or The Woodlands, TX or Dallas, TX or Tulsa, OK.
