Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our venture capital team on a full-time basis. The Portfolio Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the performance of our portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance, and driving value creation initiatives. Roles And Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Oversight and Strategy:
    • Manage a portfolio of early-stage investments, monitoring financial performance, operational metrics, and market dynamics.
    • Develop and implement portfolio management strategies to maximize value creation, growth opportunities, and investor returns.
    • Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to align on strategic initiatives, business objectives, and operational milestones.
  • Strategic Guidance and Mentorship:
    • Provide strategic advice and mentorship to portfolio company executives on key business decisions, including product development, market expansion, and operational efficiencies.
    • Act as a trusted advisor and partner to entrepreneurs, leveraging industry insights and network connections to support their growth and success.
    • Facilitate connections and introductions to industry experts, potential customers, and strategic partners to accelerate growth initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Monitor portfolio company performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial targets.
    • Prepare regular performance reports and updates for internal stakeholders, investors, and board members.
    • Conduct deep-dive analyses and assessments to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for portfolio companies.
  • Risk Management and Mitigation:
    • Assess and manage risks associated with portfolio investments, developing contingency plans and mitigation strategies as needed.
    • Conduct periodic risk assessments and scenario analyses to anticipate challenges and proactively address potential issues.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies across portfolio companies.
  • Investor Relations and Communication:
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for investor inquiries related to portfolio performance, strategy, and updates.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations to investors and stakeholders on portfolio company progress, achievements, and strategic initiatives.
    • Maintain strong relationships with investors, fostering transparency, trust, and confidence in the firm's portfolio management practices.

Skills And Qualifications
