Our client an Am100 global law firm is seeking a Policy/Senior Health Policy Advisor.
About the Practice:
Nationally recognized health policy team with expertise in legislative and public policy matters
Practitioners with high-ranking positions in executive branch agencies and congressional committees
Assists stakeholders across the health care and life sciences sectors, including:
Drug and biologics companies
Medical device and technology manufacturers
Hospitals and healthcare systems
Physician groups
Specialty associations
Patient advocacy groups
Develops advocacy strategies and effective alliances to advance clients' interests before Congress, federal agencies, key advisory bodies, and other policy influencers
Qualifications:
Minimum of seven years of experience in health policy
Experience with health care and life sciences policy issues and legislation
Capitol Hill experience preferred, especially with congressional committees responsible for health policy
Alternatively, experience working for a relevant executive branch agency may substitute for Capitol Hill experience
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (JD or Master’s) preferred
Stellar academic credentials
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
