Create policy documentation for the Office of Partnership and Engagement (OPE) programs and offices and provide management and oversight of OPE programs, communications and stakeholder relationships along with government entities.
Focal point for the reporting and providing policy and information to both internal and external customers. Works with senior management to create policy documentation and briefing on the processes.
Leverage relationships and act as the Liaison with the policy office and government entities to ensure compliance in accordance with regulations. Review, verify and implement policy in accordance with DHS policy.
Builds and maintains relationships with stakeholders groups and continued participation in OPE programs. Manages and implement projects designed to improve customer engagement. Responds to questions and issues raised form entities external to OPE, both orally and in writing Identifies and evaluates programmatic issues that may require mitigation and planning and develop proposals and recommendations to address them.
Identifies opportunities to improve the accountability and efficiency of OPE business areas including advocating a culture of integration and risk management that will strengthen interdependencies and mitigate program weaknesses. Coordinate, manage, process and provide customer service for the PSO, IGA, SI, NGO, and secretaries offices. Create and manage standardized process
Identifies areas for performance measurement and quality improvement and leads the development and administration of quality assurance activities in accordance with policy. Track update and monitor status of information via the OPE Share point site.

Must be a current permanent Federal employee
Must have supervisory approval to apply to the Joint Duty Assignment. DHS 250-2 Application Form under "required documents" section.
Must NOT have any pending/outstanding disciplinary actions
Must have achieved a minimum of "meet expectations/proficiency" on latest performance appraisal/evaluation
Must be currently at the grade level of the detail. *No Temporary Promotion Opportunity*

Qualifications required:
Excellent customer service skills, both oral and written.
Experience briefing Senior Leadership on confidential/sensitive issues.
Program and Project management experience, with in dept knowledge of security policies and procedures.
Ability to think and work strategically with long and short term processes in mind.
Strong critical thinker.
Ability to manager constant change of privatization and ability to adapt quickly.
Detail oriented, sharp, enthusiastic and quick learner.
