Policy Analysis Consultant

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Policy Analysis Consultant to join our team. As a Policy Analysis Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing legislation and regulatory policies, and providing strategic insights and recommendations to support our clients' public policy objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in policy analysis, legislative research, and government affairs, with a proven ability to translate complex policy issues into actionable strategies.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth policy research, analysis, and interpretation of legislative proposals, regulations, and government policies relevant to client industries and interests.
• Monitor and track legislative developments, regulatory changes, and political trends at local, state, and federal levels that impact clients, and provide timely updates and analysis.
• Assess the potential impact of proposed policies and regulations on clients' operations, financial outcomes, and strategic objectives, and develop risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare comprehensive policy briefs, white papers, memos, and reports summarizing research findings, analysis, and recommendations for clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams (e.g., government relations, legal, communications) to develop advocacy strategies, position statements, and messaging on key policy issues.
• Engage with policymakers, government officials, industry associations, and advocacy groups to advocate for client interests, participate in stakeholder meetings, and build coalitions.
• Provide strategic counsel and thought leadership to clients on public policy trends, regulatory compliance, and legislative opportunities to achieve business objectives.
• Present research findings, policy analysis, and recommendations to clients, senior management, and external stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
